Verifying your company's domain ensures secure access for employees using company email addresses. If a domain remains unverified, users may eventually be restricted from accessing WegoPro through that domain.
Follow these steps to verify your domain.
🛠 How to Verify a Domain
Company Owners and Admins can verify a domain by following these steps:
1️⃣ Log in to WegoPro using your admin credentials.
2️⃣ Navigate to the 'Domain Management' tab in your Company Settings under Security.
(Tip: If you don't see the 'Domain Management' tab, contact support to ensure you have the right permissions.)
3️⃣ Click on the ‘Add Domain’ button.
4️⃣ Enter your company’s domain name (e.g., example.com) and click ‘Continue’.
5️⃣ Copy the TXT record provided by WegoPro.
6️⃣ Go to your domain registrar’s control panel (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap).
7️⃣ Locate the DNS Settings or DNS Management section.
8️⃣ Add the TXT record to the DNS settings and save the changes. If you're unsure how to add the TXT record in DNS setting, please contact your IT administrator or the person who registered your domain for assistance. You can also refer our guide on how to add TXT record.
(Note: DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to propagate.)
9️⃣ After updating your DNS settings, return to WegoPro and click ‘Verify’.
🔟 WegoPro will confirm your domain verification. Once successful, you'll get a confirmation mail.
🔄 Domain Statuses
Your domain can be in one of the following states:
✅ Verified – The domain has been successfully verified and can be used for login and access control.
⚠️ Unverified – Domains that were previously added but not verified yet. Users need to verify these domains to continue secure access.
❌ Failed – Verification was attempted but unsuccessful. This could be due to incorrect TXT records or DNS issues.
⏳ Pending – Domain verification is pending. This could be because the TXT record has not yet been added to your DNS settings or because DNS propagation is still in progress (which can take up to 72 hours). Ensure the TXT record is added to your DNS settings to proceed with verification.
🛠 Troubleshooting Domain Verification
🔴 Verification Failed – Ensure that the TXT record is correctly added in your DNS settings. If you're using Cloudflare to add the TXT record for domain verification:
Name: your domain name (e.g., yourcompanyname.com) — you can also use @ as the name. Cloudflare treats @ as your root domain automatically.
Content: the TXT record value provided (e.g., wegopro-domain-verification-xxxx)
Note: The Name field must not be left blank. It should either exactly match your domain name or be set as @. Otherwise, we won’t be able to verify your domain.
🕒 Propagation Delay – DNS changes can take up to 72 hours. If you recently updated your DNS settings, please wait and try again later.
